Simplified Device Management: Understand how managing multiple devices becomes more streamlined when utilizing a remote eSIM number.

Managing multiple devices can be a challenging task, especially when it comes to keeping track of different SIM cards and their associated phone numbers. However, utilizing a remote eSIM number can simplify device management significantly. With a remote eSIM number, there is no need to physically swap SIM cards or juggle multiple phone numbers. Instead, all devices can be linked to the same eSIM number, allowing for seamless switching between devices without any hassle.

This streamlined approach to device management not only saves time but also eliminates the risk of losing or misplacing SIM cards. By centralizing the management process through a remote eSIM number, users can easily keep track of their devices and make changes to their network settings without any complications. Whether it’s activating a new device or deactivating an old one, the process becomes effortless and straightforward. Overall, the utilization of a remote eSIM number offers a simplified device management solution that enhances convenience and efficiency for users.

Enhanced Security: Explore the security features of a remote eSIM number that provide protection against SIM cloning and other fraudulent activities.

Remote eSIM numbers offer a range of robust security features that ensure protection against SIM cloning and other fraudulent activities. By eliminating the physical SIM card, which can be easily cloned or tampered with, remote eSIM numbers enhance the security of mobile devices. This innovative technology relies on streamlined and encrypted authentication protocols, making it virtually impossible for unauthorized individuals to gain access to the user’s phone number or personal information.

One of the key security benefits of remote eSIM numbers is their ability to prevent SIM cloning. Unlike traditional SIM cards, which can be cloned by hackers to gain illicit access to a user’s phone number, remote eSIM numbers are securely embedded within the device’s hardware. This eliminates the risk of unauthorized individuals cloning the SIM and intercepting calls or messages. With this level of protection, users can have peace of mind knowing their personal information is secure and their device is less vulnerable to SIM-related fraud.

Improved Privacy: Discover how a remote eSIM number offers increased privacy compared to traditional SIM cards, ensuring better control over personal information.

When it comes to protecting personal information, privacy is a top concern. Traditional SIM cards store user data directly on the card itself, making it vulnerable to physical theft or loss. In contrast, a remote eSIM number offers increased privacy by securely encrypting and storing user data on a remote server. This means that even if the physical device is stolen or lost, the personal information remains safe and inaccessible to unauthorized individuals.

Furthermore, remote eSIM numbers provide better control over personal information. Users have the flexibility to choose what information they share with different service providers, ensuring that their data is only used for the specific services they require. This level of control helps to reduce the risk of personal information being shared or misused without consent. Additionally, the ability to remotely deactivate or change the eSIM number adds an extra layer of security, allowing users to quickly respond to any potential privacy or security concerns.

Seamless Network Switching: Learn how a remote eSIM number allows for effortless switching between different networks, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity.

With the advent of remote eSIM numbers, switching between different networks has become a breeze. Gone are the days of dealing with the hassle of physical SIM cards and being limited to a single network provider. A remote eSIM number allows users to effortlessly switch between networks with just a few taps on their device, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity wherever they may be.

This seamless network switching not only provides convenience but also flexibility. Whether traveling to a different country or simply looking for a better network coverage in a certain area, a remote eSIM number enables users to make the switch effortlessly. There’s no need to go through the process of obtaining a new physical SIM card or dealing with the associated downtime. With a remote eSIM number, users can simply select the desired network and enjoy uninterrupted connectivity, saving both time and effort.

Eco-Friendly Solution: Understand how adopting a remote eSIM number contributes to reducing electronic waste generated by traditional SIM cards.

As technology continues to evolve, so does our need for efficient and sustainable solutions. One such solution is the adoption of remote eSIM numbers, which not only offer convenience but also contribute to reducing the electronic waste generated by traditional SIM cards. With remote eSIM numbers, there is no longer a need for physical SIM cards that are often discarded and replaced when switching devices or networks.

By eliminating the need for physical SIM cards, remote eSIM numbers drastically reduce electronic waste. Traditional SIM cards are small, easily misplaced, and frequently lost, resulting in millions of discarded cards each year. In contrast, remote eSIM numbers can be stored digitally and transferred effortlessly between devices, saving valuable resources and minimizing environmental impact. This eco-friendly approach not only benefits individuals but also aligns with the global movement towards sustainability.

Better Signal Quality:

The use of a remote eSIM number offers a significant improvement in signal quality compared to traditional SIM cards. This is due to the fact that remote eSIM technology allows for seamless network switching, ensuring that you are always connected to the network with the strongest signal in your area. With traditional SIM cards, switching networks often involves manual intervention and can result in a loss of signal quality or even dropped calls. However, with a remote eSIM number, the process is automated and occurs seamlessly, providing you with a consistently strong and reliable signal.

In addition to improved signal quality, the use of a remote eSIM number also offers another advantage – enhanced network coverage. With traditional SIM cards, network coverage can be limited, especially when traveling to remote or rural areas. However, with a remote eSIM number, you can easily switch between multiple networks, ensuring that you have access to the best possible coverage, no matter where you are. This is particularly beneficial for frequent travelers or individuals who live in areas with limited network coverage. By utilizing a remote eSIM number, you can enjoy a better signal and never have to worry about being out of reach again.

How can I reinstall a deleted eSIM or reinstall an existing eSIM in my new phone?

If you delete your eSIM from YOverse or lose your device, you cannot reinstall it, so if you plan to buy another plan at a later date, you will need to pay the activation fee of $0.70 Euro (which covers your eSIM for 1 year) again and reinstall a new eSIM.

How can I delete an eSIM from my phone?

If you wish, you can manually remove your eSIM. To remove your eSIM follow these steps:

Go to Settings

  • Tap Mobile data or Mobile data

    • Tap your mobile plan

    • Tap “Remove mobile plan”

If you remove your eSIM you will no longer be able to connect through this line. Any contacts you have associated with this line will default to your preferred line.

How can I allow data switching between my plans? [Advanced users]

To allow your phone to automatically select which SIM to use data from based on coverage and availability, turn on “Allow mobile data switching” in your settings. Note that if you are roaming and only want to use your YOverse eSIM or data, you should then make sure that “Allow mobile data switching” is turned off. If “Allow mobile data switching” is turned on, your phone will automatically use data from both phone plans, depending on which network is strongest at any given moment. This option is best for people who want to stay connected no matter what. There is no way to know which plan is being used at any given time, however, so this option can consume data quickly if you are not aware of it. To turn on Allow mobile data switching, follow these steps (steps may vary depending on phone model):

  • Go to Settings

  • Tap either Cellular or Mobile Data.

  • Tap Mobile Data.

    • Turn on Allow Mobile Data Switching

Your data line automatically switches for the duration of your call. Mobile data switching will not work if you are currently roaming and both eSIMs are not set to allow data roaming. Check with your provider for availability and to find out if additional charges apply.

How do I see how much data is left on my plan?

You are able to see it in the application in the “My eSIM” bubble; click on the data plan under “Active Data Plans” to view its remaining data. Once your data runs out, you will no longer have an internet connection without Wi-Fi.
